FOR ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED GOVERNMENT SERVANTS IN BPR&D ON CONTRACT BASIS

Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) invites retired government servants for walk-in interview (No application is required to be sent through post). The posts are to be filled up purely on contract basis for a period up to 31′ August 2022 (extendable) or till attaining the age 65 years or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier. Retired Govt. servants without pension or from non-pensionary jobs are not eligible to apply for any post on contract basis. Government servants retired from lower substantive grade pay or level will not be eligible for consideration for appointment to a post having higher grade pay.

Deputation (including short term contract): Officers retired from the Central/State Governments/UTs/ Autonomous/ Statutory organization/ PSUs/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutes from an analogous post or higher post with Page 35 of 40 following educational qualifications and experience at the time of retirement. Essential: (i) Class 10+2 pass from a recognized Board. (ii) Diploma in coaching (Swimming) from Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports, Patiala, Sports Authority of India or any other recognized institute; or (iii) Certificate course in Swimming from recognized Institute and possessing certificate in participation in Olympics or Asian Games or World Championship or Commonwealth Games. (iv) Two years’ experience as Swimming Coach. Desirable: (v) Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education

PSUs/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutes from an analogous post or higher post with
following educational qualifications and experience at the time of retirement.
Essential:
(i) Bachelor degree in Yoga from a recognized university or institution with one year experience
of teaching yoga in a recognised institution; or Diploma in Yoga from recognised institution
with three year experience of teaching yoga in a recognised institution;
Desirable:
(ii) Working knowledge of computer.
